we make….ethically woven, ethically stitched, happy deluxe baby clothes for the under 5s.

everything is designed here in Hackney, LONDON and all tie-dye, embroidery and small items are handmade here too. 

this Spring Summer shibori collection has been manufactured here in London, UK using fabric ethically woven for us in a workers’ cooperative in Bangladesh and dip dyed using the shibori technique…

sleepsuits and dungarees are all stitched in fair trade factories and all fabric is organic where possible.

we love……handloom cotton, organic denim, organic cotton jersey, shibori, tie-dye, neon stitching, freehand machine embroidery, appliqué, coconut shell buttons, bibs and BABIES!

winkbaby is run by Sarah Wilson who founded the company 5 years ago. she wanted to create ethical baby clothes inspired by her daughter's British and Bangladeshi heritage, combining traditional fabrics with modern embroidery, colours and techniques.
